Head of Systems & Technology

Newport

Are you looking for a new IT leadership role with a company working to make a difference? We're partnered with a Cardiff-based charity who are looking for a Head of Systems & Technology to lead their IT department.


The Role

As the Head of Systems & Technology you'll be leading the development and implementation of the charity's IT strategy. You'll ensure that the charities systems, software, and hardware can operate securely and effectively and maintain relationships with 3rd party suppliers. You'll also be responsible for managing the department's budget, asset listing, contracts and core documentation. You'll ensure technology choices are aligned with the roadmap, aims, and are value for money. Working alongside the Learning & Development team you'll develop training for systems and processes and learning resources for staff and volunteers using systems and equipment.


Skills & Experience

* Previous experience with delivering IT-related projects and strategies and managing change.
* Experience with asset management and infrastructure.
* The ability to analyse processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
* A strong written and verbal communicator.
* Knowledge of Microsoft products including Office 365 (Teams and SharePoint inclusive). Visual Studio, Azure and Azure active directory, and Windows 10 desktop support.
* Knowledge of WAN networks (Cisco and Draytech)
* Knowledge of Vivantio (ITSM)


Salary & Location
£55k per annum
Cardiff (hybrid)
