STAFF/FACULTY ONLINE INFORMATION COMPETENCY/AREA F INSTRUCTIONS & FORM

This form is intended to be submitted by SBCC staff, faculty, and administrators only. For student forms go to sbcc.edu/teo. 

 

You must log in using your SBCC email and password.

This form is only for evaluation of external coursework and degrees toward the SBCC General Education Area F requirement. 

 


Please note: 
Official transcripts are required!

 
  • Transcripts must be verified as received by Admissions & Records before you submit this form or your request will not be processed.
    • Academic Counselors can verify receipt of transcripts using the Student Profile report in the campus portal. 
    • TEO has access to official transcripts not yet scanned into Softdocs, so you do not need to attach a copy to the request (it will be considered unofficial and not used toward the evaluation). 
  • Official transcripts must be from a regionally accredited institution and show proof the student has completed the required coursework or the request will be denied.

 

  • Additional support documents (optional)
    • If the student is using course syllabi, course outlines or other documentation in support of their request you will need to submit a digital copy of the document(s) with your form.
    • The department may request a detailed syllabus/course outline in order to make a decision. You may want to include this when you first submit the form to avoid any delays in processing.

 


After you submit your request:

Requests are generally processed within twenty (20) business days of receipt of your completed form and all required documentation. This time frame excludes weekends, holidays, and campus closures and is subject to change without notification.
