Use the link below to submit a request for evaluation of AP scores toward SBCC prerequisites and program requirements.
AP scores must either be on file or attached to the form.

Students who have completed Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations of the College Entrance Examination Board with scores of 3, 4, or 5 may receive credit at Santa Barbara City College for each advanced placement course as listed and published in the . See AP 4236 for additional details.
- Review toward prerequisite clearance can also be requested using the Google form.
- If prerequisite clearance is requested, we will review the entire AP score report AND we will enter them as test scores in Banner as quickly as possibly (just like a "regular" prerequisite clearance request"). The evaluation toward requirements in DP will take longer to complete.
- You may have noticed that students have two ways to clear prerequisites: the prerequisite form, or the AP form as a part of their request for evaluation toward DP. The processing time is the same.
